Dean Nicholson

Dean Nicholson, who was best known as one of the most successful coaches in the history of college basketball, played all of his junior high, high school and college home games on the same court. It was claimed that he knew every inch of the Morgan Middle School gym. He was captain of the Bulldogs as a senior and all-conference as a senior in 1944 when he led his team to the state tournament for the first time in nearly a decade.
